Second Payment for Oranges
Citrus Growers are informed that Second Payment for Oranges will be made on Thursday, July 15, 2010.
The estimated final price is $1.5523 per pound solid (Pps) or $9.0557 per box using the factory's weighted average yield of 5.8337 ps/box. The second payment to growers for Oranges delivered will be $0.2694 per pound solid net of the deduction for the Pound Solids Lab ($0.2744 - $0.0050).
Growers' payment for the Pound Solid Authority will be deducted at the rate of per$0.0292 per box or $0.0050 pps.
The final payment for Orange and Grapefruit will be paid on September 15th 2009. Growers are advised that the CGA has accepted the submission under protest so
growers can receive payment on July 15t and take care of their obligations. The CGA is calling a meeting on Wednesday, June 30th 2010 at CGA at 2:00 p.m.
to discuss the submission with its members. All members are urged to attend.
